We were tasked to install a retail management system that could handle a diverse and wide array of products, whilst offering a swift checkout experience for customers. We installed our RS-Touch Point of Sale solution, which runs on touch screen terminals at each checkout. The tills have scanners attached to speed up item registration of prepacked goods. The system can scan weighted items with price-embedded barcodes, allowing for accurate pricing and concise sales reporting. RS-Accounts Back Office Software provides a full reporting suite and management platform, for complete oversight and control of every aspect of the system. Stock control features are built in, allowing management to keep an eye on stock levels and identify variances. The system links to an optional handheld device which can be used to change prices, request shelf edge labels and carry out stock checks.
