Having used our PixelPoint POS solution in their existing Carrbridge-based business, it made sense for the owners to purchase the same system when expanding into the Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig. The mobile unit utilises the PixelPoint Pos software from us on a touch screen terminal. Connected to the terminal are a receipt printer, cash drawer and barcode scanner. The scanner can be particularly useful for reducing transaction times for customers purchasing prepackaged or retail items. Pixelpoint has the ability to read standard barcodes and user-generated (in-house) barcodes. Businesses can produce labels on their own packaging which incorporates a barcode. We can also supply the necessary equipment and labels for this. The system has the facility to integrate to a card payment reader if required.
